I am a details person with a good memory, but I don’t remember everything.

I don’t remember the part of the ceremony when the officiant says a piece about love and marriage.

It sounds bad, but I don’t remember dresses if they seem ‘typical’ to me.

Exact hairstyles except that of the bride who wore a dress with all the detail at the back and covered it by wearing her hair down.

Corsages and bouquets probably because I don’t see them up close.

I rarely remember cake details, bridesmaid dresses, what my entree was, centerpieces…. I remember IF the food was good, and IF the music was good.

I always remember the food and cake. I sometimes remember centerpeices and the dress (not always). And I rarely ever remember invitations, linens, bridal party, etc.
