I love how my diamonds look so different in different lighting. They can look clear or “full”, sparkly or giving off flashes of light, bright white or silver/grey. I love seeing all their different characteristics.

I noticed that I still love the style more than ever and that it’s gorgeous!! It’s really perfect, I love it! It’s been on my hand for a year now, still love it.

I’ve notied that my ring finger looks completely weird if I don’t have it on!

I’m serious. It looks shorter or stubbier or SOMETHING not right whenever I don’t have my wedding set on it.

I hate my hand without my ring.. That is what I notice. Hahahah. I know that wearing it to sleep is terrible for your ring, so I don’t..But I still want to!

@rachelmichelle:  +1

My finger feels naked.. missing something when it’s not on.

I don’t feel right when I don’t have it on.

@TG123:  I’ve heard that, too. I bet it must depend on what kind of ring you have.

I’ve got a solitaire and I’ve slept with it every single night for the last 19 months with absolutely zero issues.

(And my mom’s been wearing her solitaire every single night for about 30 years without anything going awry.)

Honestly? The more I look at it, the more I notice dirt, oils, tiny dust particles, debris, crusties, or finger prints preventing it from sparkling at it’s maximum capacity. It’s sooooo annoying! I just want to carry alcohol wipes or eyeglass microfibre cloths to clean it all the time! Haha, I know I’m a little nuts :p but I just want her to shine!!! instead of looking dull like glass.

@rachelmichelle:  that’s good to know guess it can’t be as bad as everyday wear. Although I have punched my patented in my sleep a few times. More likely to damage him!

@MissSangria:  I’ve noticed that (being that I have an emerald cut) I can see reflections in my ring, like windows or overhead lights. People probably think I’m nuts staring at it with one eye open. Heh. And there’s a pattern in the way the prongs are set on the pave diamonds in the band that I didn’t notice for a few weeks and it’s so obvious when I look at the ring, but really hard to photograph. I have tried, this was the best I could do.

I have also noticed that my stone is not exactly a rectangle and my prongs are a little off. And I have one “dead” diamond in my pave. All things which should kill me with my OCD and I thought would make me insane, but actually don’t bother me as much as I thought they would. I think it’s because every time I see it I know what it means and those little things become not so important. She’s my best girl and the man who gave her to me is the best guy. 🙂

I’ve only had my ring for a month but I noticed how sparkly it gets when it’s clean! The fingerprints in my center stone gets pretty annoying so I wipe it off every chance I get. Lol. It already has scratches on the underside since I’ve been wearing it everyday since. And the diamond looks different in different lightings. I love her with all my heart though, so does fi!
