    I think donating it is a great idea. My dress was a bit of an investment, and something I consider timeless, so I plan on holding on to it in the even that a future daughter, niece, whatever, may want the option of wearing it!

    @Araya:  I’m only wearing 3 inch heels. Nothing too extreme for me. Our height difference is endearing, plus we’re having our formal wedding in a park.

    I’m so emotionally attach to it already i plan on keeping it. We do have a daughter maybe she’ll like to wear it? Who knows but i told  myself i will want to wear it for our 10 year vow renewal ceremony 🙂 motivation to me to not gain weight LOL

    Mine is staying in my closet. If my future daughter wants to wear it one day then that’s great, but I will never sell it. I love it too much.

    @gsu02olliff:  I couldn’t bare the idea of just shoving it in the closet. I’m probably going to have a larger frame built, with spots to put each bouquet on the bottom [or bouts or w/e. thats providing my bridal party don’t want to keep them].

    I would keep it to see if my future daughters would want it, but I doubt that will happen; I really didn’t want my mom’s dress. I am considering selling it, because I could probably get a decent amount back on it… I definitely can’t chop it to wear in the future unless I get really creative

    I’m going to keep it for sure. Will probably keep it in my chest if it isnt too big once preserved. If its too big, its going in my closet. I’m too sentimental. I would want my daughter to have her own dress unless she was set on wearing mine so I wouldnt push her wearing my dress.

    I’ll keep it in my closet. When I was little, I loved to play dress up with my mom’s wedding dress. Maybe if I have a daughter she will like to do the same! The dress was only $299, so I’m not worried about it getting wrecked after I get married.

    I will donate it or give it away. While I love my dress, I am not at all attached to it and would love it to go to someone who loves it as well. I also didn’t spend too much on it, so I’m not at all worried about recouping the cost.

    I sold my dress for about half of what I bought it for. I didn’t want it sitting in a box the rest of my life when someone else could wear it.

    @jenilynevette:  SUCH a GREAT IDEA!!!  turns it into artwork!!! i wonder if it would stay preserved in there???

    @MrsSanchizel:  another great idea!!!

    I think i will definitely do one of your 2 suggestions.  Just need to find my dress first 🙂

    I wnat to do a rock the dress session in the fall maybe.  Darling Husband and I are thinking of going to FL again so I was thinking of brining it along.  After that, I want to possible make a chistening outfit for our future children with it.  We’ll see though.

    Since my train as color on it, I think I may have it turned into a tree skirt 🙂
