I provide everything.  DH and I always have a fully stocked bar so we have whatever liquor people want.  And I like to cook, so I always have all the food.

youngbrokebride :  Yep, fellow Aussie here and pretty much all events are BYO except Weddings and fancy/important birthdays (and even then, a good friend of mine recently had a BYO wedding lol).
Punch seems to be the go to alcohol for house parties and barbeques, but some people offer cheap beer and wine as well haha

Beer is nearly always offered when you pop round to a friends (Although we aren’t beer drinkers, so if you come to ours you’ll get a rum or scotch.)

I’m beginning to sour on posting anything on the Bee from my phone because it tends to either eat it, or I’ll accidentally click on a pop up and lose my response (what just happened to my looooong response), but basically: we tend to buy cheaper liquor, mixers, beer, and wine, but if anyone wants anything more expensive they’ll bring it themselves (honestly people tend to bring so much that we end up with more than we started with).

For some sort of fancy dinner party for a select few friends, we do provide good wine and good beer.
