Not that I don’t say it in general when it’s required, but when I’m upset/annoyed with someone, I say “please” a lot. Like…slightly frustrated with Fiance right now and I just sent him a text “…can you please tell me why you keep changing your mind?” Or when I’m at work (with residents with dementia) and am frustrated, instead of saying, “ok, you can take a seat here”, I’ll say “please sit in this chair”. Maybe my mind thinks that people will pay more attention by me saying please? I don’t even know.
What habits do you have when you’re annoyed.

Wow you are so nice when annoyed! I dont even know what I do – I go from annoyed to angry in about 2 seconds flat!

I mumble curse words under my breath, lol. This is a habit I’m trying to break.

I talk really slow and quietly lol. It isn’t really a conscious thing but i think the reason I do it is so that 1) I don’t say things I don’t mean and 2) talking quietly makes people shut up because they’re trying to hear what you’re saying.

Unfortunately, I get louder in volume when I am getting annoyed or flustered. I will have to try what CorgiTales does.
I also will say “grrr” if what is frustrating me is an object rather than a person – like if it is a jar I can’t get open or my computer is crashing or locking up, or something stupid like that.
