@Woodstock:  I didn’t imply that you did, I am sure that many people are unbiased and yet have differing experiences with football fans & teams. But yes, Southern football is VERY enthusiastic and sometimes crazy!

@skyeatnight:  smokers should be banned from smoking everywhere but designated smoking areas. passive smoking harms as well.

@Pokemon:  Unfortunately not illegal though.  I feel alcohol consumption should be limited for the amount of vandalism and fights etc caused and the harm it does to other people and their lives.  Someone passing by me outside with a cigarette does me no more harm than the pollution from cars etc.  IMO

@Eckle:  Fortunately in Scotland you can’t smoke in places like bus shelters or places that are designated areas like this.  Walking about outside or standing in a particular designated smoking area are about the only places here….maybe that’s why It doesn’t bother me.

@skyeatnight:  I used to be really funny about smokers until the ban in 2006. I never sit outside in pubs, and because of that I only come into contact with smokers if I’m stood talking next to one.

That ban was a wonderful thing to happen, IMO!

@lookingglass:  I know!! The ban was fantastic! as a teenager working in a fast food joint the law that stopped them smoking in the drive thru was FANTASTIC. yep i was one of the servers that would refuse service if you were smoking!

eimajleigh I agree and not everyone is strong in the STEM fields and can have a career in them. As a humanities person, am I frusterated by my drawn-out job search? Of course. But I still could rather wait a little longer for a job I enjoy and am good at rather than try to fit myself into some mold and end up in a job that I suck at and will probably get fired from because I don’t understand it.

I judge people who like a sports team just because it wins all the time (cough cough Yankees fans)…especially if they like that team over their local team.

I judge people who think the only reason people should go to college is to learn a profession.  That’s not called college…that’s called trade school.  Being intellectual is something we should value.

Yesterday I had a conversation with a fellow rugby player who was complaining about how she doesn’t make a lot of money, and so some nights she only has tomato soup to eat…but she smokes.  aslkdfjsklafjlsfdkf.  First of all, you smoke and you play rugby.  WHAT.  AND if you didn’t smoke, you’d have enough money for food.  I said, “How much does a pack of cigarettes cost?” and she was like, “Well I factor that in.”  What an idiot.  Also she looks well into her thirties but is only 28.

@peachacid:  i judge people who ignore their local team until it wins (bandwagon fans). As the Phillies fan yelled at a Rays fan a few years ago at a World Series “hey, you forgot to take the tag off your jersey” – priceless

People who have ‘no interest’ in politics, eating habits, Ed Hardy clothing, bad make-up, oh so many things… I’m a horrible person haha, oh! and people who think they’re photographers just because they bought a camera. Those people are the worst.

@Woodstock:  But I will say.. college football fans in the south… especially the SEC get a little too into it!

LOL– speaking of— Tennessee lost to FL last night and my husband was/is so distraught he decided to sleep on the couch.
