I bought my dress a few weeks ago for my wedding that is over a year away. The day after I ordered it, I had regrets. This was the first time I had tried on wedding gowns, and I only tried on about 6. I don’t know if it’s that I think I didn’t try on enough, or if I really don’t like the dress, but I’m having MAJOR second thoughts. I think that I got the reaction I was looking for from my family and I was sold, without thinking about if I actually liked it or not.
I made an appointment at the boutique for next Friday to try on my dress again and also try on others. If I decide to buy a new dress, I still have to buy the first one.
What do you think? Please be honest and tell me if it looks bad. I just feel like I need more opinions.
Here’s the dress. It’s Calistoga by Enzoani Blue (I hope these pictures post. I’ve seen that people have trouble):

The dress really does look great on you!! You definitely should get the dress that you feel great in and that YOU want–not the dress everybody wants you to have.

thats a STUNNING DRESS!!!i love it, but YOU have to love it, so if you dont,i say get a new one, you could always sell the first one or would the store let you take it back if you bought another dress of the same value or more? mine did, i got one dress, changed my mind and they let me get another dress for the same price. By The Way it looks really REALLY great on you!

I think it is gorgeous on you and flatters your figure very well! But if you don’t love it, no amount of anyone telling you how much they love it on you is going to make you happy….you need to love whatever you choose. good luck 🙂

I think it’s beautiful! I bet you’ll feel a lot better once you try it on again. Let us know how it goes 🙂

You look amazing. I love it. You can have your seamstress make some changes to the dress if you want something specific changed but I think its stunning.

I LOVE IT! You have no reason to have second thoughts! It looks awesome on you! 🙂

Why are you having second thoughts??? To be honest, I really love Enzioani Blue collection. I almost bought one,but decided on another style of dress that was less moolah $$$. Is it because you only went to one place? I heard that many girls get their dress the first place they go so don’t get insecure about that part (not going to more bridal shops). It is a very beautiful gown. Nothing nothing nothing ugly or boring about it. The jewels at the top and the side make it very pretty!
What aren’t you liking about it??? Did you want a different style?

Oh and I also love the cinching, or whatever it’s called in wedding gown world, on the waist area. I loved dresses that have that. It def is a beautiful dress.
However, if you’re the type of girl who wants to feel giddy, but doesn’t think she will feel that silly emotion when you find “the one” then you should feel giddy! I am not the type to be all emotional about the dress. I thought I’d jsut find a pretty one and be happy, but i seriously was giddy when I wore it. I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m shocked at myself. Let yourself stop thinking so much about what’s out there and think about your dress then ask yourself…Do you love it? 🙂 (oh my gosh…I never thought I’d be talking like this about wedding stuff!…yikes!)
Tell us your decision!!!!

I love it on you. Are there some things that you can change? Honestly, I had second thoughts about my dress but I really didn’t want to go through the hassle of selling it and getting another but it was still the perfect dress for my wedding.

It is really pretty. My advice is to make a decision about it and then stick to it. If you decide to keep it, then stop looking at other dresses. If you decide to find a new dress, then get it up for sale ASAP, because I’ve heard they can take a while to sell sometimes, and getting back some of your purchase price will help you recoup the cost of the new dress. 🙂
