Fiance and I plan on writing our own vows. But lately, I’ve been thinking that I want to read a poem during the reception to him as well. “I Carry Your Heart With Me” by E.E. Cummings has always been a poem we have loved, and it’s kind of been a “theme poem?” haha for us lately since we are in a LDR. Just reading the poem and thinking about him makes me tear up. What would you think if the DJ or someone announced that I had something to read? I’ve seen people sing to their Darling Husband during the reception, so it’s kind of like that. Would it be too sappy/not original? What do you bees think?
