ive only seen a handful that I like. If YOU like it then go for it!

as an alternative, you could tuck the veil in at the nape of your neck to have a more ‘traditional’ look but still show off your hair.

sushikaiju :  I don’t think it’s ugly or anything but I just don’t see the point I guess. Seems like a waste of money. If your dress was designed with a cape then I don’t see the problem but I wouldn’t add one just for the sake of looking like you have a veil.

The cape just adds bulk to the back of your dress that I don’t think it needs, it’s beautiful without it. If your heart is set on one then go for it

I love your dress so adding the cape makes me sad. I think putting the veil lower on your head will allow you to get the best of both worlds.

I have never seen anything like a cape veil!  For that reason, I love the idea!!  I think it could look very romantic in a forest!  Forgive my ignorance though….after the ceremony–do you bustle it?  Does it remove?  Are you having any aisle runner? (I’m worried about your dress/veil snagging on the forest decor)  So many questions haha

sushikaiju :  I typically think cape veils are really cool, romantic, fresh, chic. I do like the look of yours, the *only* thing that may be a bit off is- I think with the sleeves, the bottom half of dress, and the cape, it may not all go together completely…? I still thinks it’s beautiful though, cape veils make me swoon 🙂

I agree with IzzyBear. It’s cool, but what’s the point? Your dress already has that amazing magical shape. IMO you’re just covering the dress.

I think it would look better pinned to your head! (Low on your head). And I love your dress!

I think it compliments your dress! Though I’m probably biased because I’m doing the same thing. The seamstress is making mine detachable

I love cape veils! But in this case I think it might be too much going on.  Cape veils look better with more simple dresses that aren’t poofy.  The hair ideas look beautiful!  I think with the hair being like a crown and with whatever you put in it you might not even need a veil.
