I wear a Diamond right hand ring most days. It’s a .56 marquise, I think because of the setting it doesn’t feel too engagementy to me. It was my late mother in laws Diamond.

Pic on my left because I can’t take right hand photos too well! Lol 😜

My Fiance wants to get me a 10 year anniversary. I’m eyeing sapphires and diamonds for that myself, and it will not be cheap.

This belonged to my grandma’s mom; it was her 25th anniversary gift.  I wear it as a RHR but not every day.  It sparkles like crazy; the pictures don’t do it justice.  I don’t think it competes with my wedding set at all though.

blueshirt00:  I’m pretty understated when it comes to jewelry so a right hand blingy ring in addition to my engagment ring and wedding band would be too much for me. Nothing against them though if they suit your look.

I always wear a RHR when I was single or in a relationship.

After marriage, I only wear ering+wedding band, since I do not want my RHR stealing ering’s thunder, although they are not on the same hand.  🙂

My mother received a diamond 3-stone RHR before they were popular, it was very sweet since my dad custom designed it for their 15th wedding anniversary. She is always getting compliments on it and I’ve always thought it was very sweet to be able to wear an anniversary ring and wedding ring set.

This is my right hand ring. Only .2 TCW and the metal is silver so it cost far less than my engagement ring!

meh. I like my diamond/moissanite wedding set, but for everything else I much prefer the simple modern look, and/or statement pieces with interesting components like wood or leather.  I never was into delicate sparkly jewelry. my current favorite RHRs are a series of thin silver and brass rings on my middle finger and pinky.

When I was engaged (once upon a time) I wore my grandmother’s diamond ring on my right hand, and honestly I don’t think anyone cared about it competing. If you want a big diamond ring on your right hand I say rock it!

I’m no longer engaged now (or in a relationship) but now I wear an heirloom diamond ring on each hand. They were free and just sitting in a box, so I say why not wear an extra sparkly?

I alternate my RHRs. One that I wear is my former ering. It’s a large diamond and I don’t give a rat’s @ss about people who are lame enough to judge me by a ring lol. As to whether the price was more or less expensive than my ering, I never talk about how much things cost.
