I originally wanted a gemstone ering (and ended up with an heirloom diamond ring) so I’m thinking about incoporating gemstones into my wedding band. My birthstone is ruby and I’ve always loved rubies. I saw this ad for diamond and ruby wedding bands pop up from a local jewelry store and have starry eyes. What do you think?

I have regular diamond wedding bands, but I’ve been searching for a ruby ring since my daughter was born. Those are freaking gorgeous! Would you mind telling me the name of the jewelry shop?

Ruby is my birthstone too! Those rings are beautiful!! I think it’s a great idea. When I was growing up my mom wore three rings, one e-ring, one diamond wedding band and one emerald band (since emerald is her birthstone). I think I want to do something similar with a ruby band 🙂

raspberrybidet : I love them! I have one similar to one of those, but it’s just CZs. Was trying out the shape on my hand. Personally I wouldn’t want the milgraine, but other than that I LOVE em!

I love all of the rings you posted! I also have an heirloom diamond e-ring (solitaire that belonged to DH’s maternal grandmother) and I love it, but probably would have gone for a vintage gemstone ring if we had been starting from scratch. I originally thought I would get a sapphire wedding band, but we got married in July and I found a 9 stone vintage ruby band and that was that! I now have several ruby RHR’s as well! This isn’t the best pic, but it’s the only one I have on my phone right now. (The green gold & diamond band is a little vintage band added for 1st anniversary)

I love gemstones! I chose a sapphire engagement ring and absolutly adore it! If you love rubies then you should absolutly get a ruby wedding band!

Ruby is my birthstone as well. I ADORE those bands you posted!!! I also want to get a couple diamond and ruby bands. I have seen a couple but they were pricey, so maybe for a future wedding anniversary I will request those. I would love genuine rubies. I agree, if I did not want a diamond center stone, it would have been ruby. I have seen some amazing rubies with diamond halos!

Westwood : The name is the jewelry shop is Barmakian jewelers, and the brand that makes those specific rings is Coast Diamond jewelry!
fl0werbee : I’m not sure yet! I have a vintage ering so I think most of those bands would work well, but I want to try the different styles on my finger. I love the bottom one too, though!
chiweeniemommy : I love your ruby band!!! I’ll see if I can find one with all rubies, I would love one of those too. 🙂
Yay! Glad that other people like them. 🙂 Hopefully I’ll get a chance to see them in person soon.
