My birthstone is ruby as well! I don’t prefer them by any means but those ruby and diamond bands are so beautiful!!

My ering is all diamond, but my wedding band is blue sapphires.  I love the idea of incorporating gemstones for some color! It’s your ring and you’ll be the one looking at it most; the most important opinion is YOURS!

I have an emerald band – just because green is my favorite color. I love having that splash of color on my hand!

raspberrybidet :  I like the one on the very top and very bottom in the picture as far as setting style. I think rubies look nice when I see them in other’s sets or rings.

It’s actually my birthstone but I’m just not a fan honestly. I tend to gravitate to blue stones and sapphires so just my preference. I do think rubies are less commonly seen so I enjoy seeing them from time to time in people’s posts. Go for what you love not what others think. 🙂

Amazing! I love wedding bands with gemstones. I’m getting a sapphire/diamond mix for mine (it’s more sapphire than anything else though)

raspberrybidet :  I normally don’t care for alternating colored gems and diamonds in the same ring but I love the ones you posted!  I’ve just started looking for something similar except with amethysts since my daughter was born on the first.

I have a ruby band and I love it. I really want one like the several you posted. They are lovely.

I like the idea and look of them alone or on others. I initially thought to get an alternating ruby & diamond band but when i tried it, didn’t love it paired with my e-ring. Went with 1 ruby band and 1 diamond band to stack! 😄

I think they are gorgeous. I love rubies and diamonds together, ruby is my birthstone. At one point I considered a ruby and diamond e-ring. Ultimately decided against it because I thought I might get tired of it and I read that gemstones will look dirty than diamonds, you have to clean them more often. Personally I want to get something like this ring to wear on my right ring finger http://www.bluenile.com/riviera-pave-ruby-diamond-eternity-ring-14k-white-gold_54954

raspberrybidet :  Love them, particularly the ring second from bottom in that stack. If I’d seen that while wedding band shopping, I would have pounced. I actually had ring regret looking at ruby and diamond e-rings and will probably look for a ruby ring as a RHR, maybe for my 30th birthday in a couple of years!
