I’m really digging these toms. I normally don’t wear heels. I wear them sometimes but only to please my Fiance so flats would be more me. I am also looking for ways to keep the budget as low as possible and 57.95 sounds perfectly reasonable. Do you think these would be appropriate for a wedding?

well in my personal opinion Toms are second only to crocks as the most baffling shoe trend in America.
I think they’re completely inappropriate for a wedding or any occassion fancier than a grocery store run.
There are so many pretty, dressy flats out there. I would keep looking if I were you.

@Meowkers: you said my thoughts
crogs, toms, and the (continuous) Ugg trend confuse me

I do see them as a comfy shoe to change into when/if your feet hurt

TBH when I saw them I thought somewhere in a mix of “mummy”/”ballet dancer”/”foot injury”, so I wouldn’t recommend them as wedding shoes.

I wouldn’t personally wear them, but if they fit your style and comfort level, go for them! It’s just personal taste- same with picking a dress- everyone has their own taste and opinion! I’ve seen other brides on here who wear them and they were more than happy with their choice:)

They’re white and they’re satin! They look fine to me.

I love TOMS and I think you have to have a certain type of style to like them. Comparing TOMS to Crocs is insane to me. Crocs are just…well…weird, rubber, frumpy..not for sure what’s going on with them. Love my TOMS. Comfy, chic, simple. If you are having a laid back wedding, I’d say go for it! Everyone has their own opinion. There are always going to be people who love them and those that hate them. I have friends who love Crocs/Uggs…are they my style, no..but you choose what fits you, your budget, and style:)

I typically do not like Toms but I do think they look super fun in the first picture with all of the bridesmaids kinda like ballerinas….AND I LOVE BALLERINAS! Plus if you don’t like heels then go for it. But…real quick- does your Fiance love heels? You say you wear them sometimes for your Fiance so if it is something he will like I would consider heels and then bringing the Toms for when my feet hurt later.

I don’t really get the Toms trend. I think it’s something you may look back on and regret, sort of like people who wear Chucks or Crocs.

Sixty bucks for essentially a ribbon wrapped around my feet? Pass.

I like Toms with jeans, but not a fan of them with wedding dresses.
