i will be 40 when we get married, are these centerpieces too young for us?
what do you ladies think?
and if you have any suggestions please.
our wedding theme is Unlocking love. with keys
with the lock and key theme will the centerpieces even go together?
i’m having key invitations
keys attaches to the seating cards and key favors for the guest
i did not want to go crazy with the keys.
i’m trying for a romantic, classy elegant look for the wedding.
thank you in advance ; )

I find them a little more of a modern kind of centrepieces then romantic. Maybe you can opt for something less modern?

They seem more for like a Vegas themed wedding to me.

I used to be obsessed with those! I don’t find them romantic though. They definitely make a statement, and a very pretty one too!

Although its still your choice in the end…I would say that the feathers are a tad too much, and might look like vegas-kinda-style. But if its what you like and want, then I say ‘go for it’ 🙂

@SAlady: i would love a romantic soft look and i dont want floating candles lol everyine does that

Honestly, they don’t seem to really match with the vibe that you have going on with everything else.

I don’t think they match very well with your unlocking love theme. I would try to go for something more romantic and less modern. Hope this helps!

I love the rest of you theme, but not those centerpieces. I think something lower would be better…

It was kind of a random prize in the box at the end of a very classy key theme lol, I’d say these are probably not a very good match for the rest of what you are going for, but that’s a personal opinion!

I am not crazy about the centerpieces, but I do love everything else.

Maybe something smaller like this? I don’t think the large ostrich centerpiece matches well but I also know you don’t want to go overboard on the keys.

I also am not crazy about the centerpieces. They look a little ‘fru-fru’ (if that’s a word). Everything else is great though!

I have never been a fan of those type of centerpieces and I really don’t think they go with your theme. 🙁

I really don’t think that centerpiece fits very well with your theme…
Here are a couple that I think fit very well with the key theme…
These two were found at this site (which I think you should check out!): http://mydeartrash.blogspot.com/2011/04/vintage-wedding.html
These centerpieces fit the romantic feel you described… I don’t know your colors, so I just went for it – they could obviously be altered for your colors 🙂
I really love the look of submerged flowers (could definitely be done with artificial flowers)
This one is more peachy, less pinky… A great twist!
Another peachier one…
These centerpieces went for a deeper, elegant (as compared to a bit more whimsical, light style above)
