Hi Fellow Bees. I wanted to know what youthought of this Eve of Milady dress. I tried it on yesterday and snapped a shot with my camera phone. The store is willing to sell it to me 50% off as the sample. I am not sure I like the stripes but I love the sparkle. I was not sure how the stipes down the middle would look in pics. It looks very burlesque to me, but I love the princess feel. What do you think? Sorry. I only have this one pic. I will take more if I decide to go back.

I love it. I am princessy too. I suggest trying it on with a fuller crinoline. Then you will know. I got the fullest one available for mine. Also, make sure you walk around a bit and try to sit down to make sure you don’t have any problems.

I think its a pretty dress. I’m not into the princess-y thing or the bling-y thing, so it wouldn’t be on my list, but thats just a matter of preference. If you like blingy princessy dresses, I think that one is a perfect choice. And 50% off is pretty rad 🙂

This dress looks absolutely gorgeous on you!!!

I think you look like you have an amazing figure under that dress, but that dress may not be the one to compliment your body the best. There are some things that you like about the dress, and some things you dont. I’d take note of the things you like and keep looking until you find one that will not make you hesitate and that you’ll feel super good in.

I think it looks fantastic! And the stripes have a way of pulling in the waist to make it look even smaller than it already is! If princessy is what you like, I think this is a great option for you. AND if it is in your price range, even better! 🙂
I vote that you go back and take some more pictures 🙂

Princess was exactly the word I was going to use. I’m the opposite, no sparkle, no volume in my skirt. But I think the stripes look nice and if princessy is what you want, you have it! It’s very flattering on you, especially the neckline, I think it makes the look more sophisticated.

It’s very flattering! I’m not into sparkly or princessy dresses but if that’s what you like, it’s perfect!

I like it!. I like princessy. When you say burlesque do you think the bodice looks like a corset or something?
Do you like it better than the other dresses you tried on? If the stripes (I might say lines) bother you that much, then I don’t think you’ll be happy with it. But I think they look fine.

Thank You so much guys. Yes Tanya123. I thought it looked corsetty. It reminded me of the saloon days. lol But I liked it alot. There was another Amalia that looked more traditional with the beading, but my friend thinks that the lines make this dress more unique.

I think it’s nice but I have this dress listed in this website and if you’re interested I can do better with the price it is style # e4216:
This is an Eve of Milady wedding gown that has never been worn or altered, I order this dress for my wedding last year I paid $5,200 It took over 6 months to get it but then my wedding was cancelled so I didn’t wear it. Its a beautiful 100% silk dress in diamond white, and the ditailing is in silver and Swarovski crystals. This dress is size 12, if you try to order this dress now from any where on line or at any authorized EVE OF MILADY salon you’re going to wait more than 6 months to get it plus you not going to pay less than $5200.00.
Asking price is $2,000.00 OBO

I really love it. I love the ballgown! The stripes don’t look bad, but if you aren’t comfortable with them get something different. I love Eve of Milady! I definitely think I will be getting one!

I like the corset look of the “stripes,” but the dropped waist looks a bit too low to me. Hard to tell without seeing the whole dress, but depending on your height, it could look a bit out of proportion??
