If you do it, I hope your child never goes into the military or wants to join marching band or plays the drums. Cadence is the drum beat when you’re marching, or what they shout while they march. It could be very confusing for someone with that as their first name. Would you name them Tempo, Rhythm, or Beat?

I have a friend who has a 4 year old daughter with that name. I like it.

Again? oh no lol
Well, I am not a kardashian and my name starts with a ‘K’. I like my letter lol At least you like the name itself.
Uhmm…all names have a meaning, and I of course I know the meaning. Rhythm has lots of it’s own meanings too. In that case, why don’t people name their children the meanings and not the name? Your name has a meaning too, right?
Is this the only one that you know of? It seems that some people haev heard it lots.

When babies arrive it is so much fun picking names but after a while its challenging to find something different. Kadence is cute.. We have a Gunner Robert and Kash Remington…. Obviously my FH is into the whole “gun” stuff.

I think it is pretty, and love the ‘K’, but I spelled my son’s very traditional ‘C’ name with a ‘K’, so I am probably biased.

So true. Thanks…your names are really unique. Remington makes me think of Remington Steele. lol

I don’t really like it, to be honest. I have never heard of it, but I guess it is a somewhat “normal” name if it is on the top of the list. But, it is growing on me the longer I think of it.
However, I really dislike misspelling names (a la Khloe and Kourtney) just so they have that letter. It means your child will spend the rest of his/her life correcting people when they spell it the common way. My name has two very common, and numerous other less common, ways to spell it, and it’s really annoying. I can only imagine if it was purposely spelled an uncommon way. That’s just my opinion which you of course can ignore 🙂

I don’t really like it because it makes me think of the military.
ETA: Not that I have a problem with the military. I just think of the military everytime someone says that name.

Nope, you don’t have to agree. I asked for opinions. 🙂
