I think the idea is cute, but I don’t like the idea of a lace dress with patent-y shiny shoes. BUT, you know your style and the feel of your wedding better than we do, so go with what you think looks best.

So your dress is a lace version of what you just posted? But its still knee length?  I dont like the style or color of the flats. They seem kinda casual to me. I wore flats at my wedding and I think there are much nicer styles and colors than this. If you check the DSW website you will find lots of options for dressy flat shoes

I was gonna suggest DSW, too. I got my shoes for just under $30. I also don’t really love the neon patent leather plus lace combo, sorry.

There is just nothing dressy looking about those flats, much less- “This is the most important day of my life”

DSW has a Rocket Dog Marilyn flat for $29

Have to admit I’m not a fan, but whatever’s clever!  Its your day!

I actually got those same flats in orange off of ebay to do the same thing you are doing for the reception.  They are so bright orange they remind me of blaze orange (i’m from northern wisconsin where thats a color that is seen too often because of hunting) so I will not be wearing them.   My guess would be that these green ones would be almost neon green.  Just a guess though. Also, I just didn’t like they way the looked with my reception dress either.  I’m now thinking i’ll just get some chucks, as its just in my personality.  Do you know you can design your own on their site and even have them embroidered to say “Mrs. Pocket Mouse” or whatever you want 🙂  They may be slightly out of your budget, but not much!

I like it. I think with eyelet the bright flats would be fun and flirty. What shades of green and blue are you doing?
