A rubber stamp sounds great and makes it more personalized and memorable. What design do you intend to use?

We used stamps on our envelopes and we got lots of compliments. If the stamp goes with your theme, I say go for it.

We used a rose, but that was on the folder cover, RSVP envelope, invitation itself, and outer envelope. Then on the flap of the RSVP and outer envelopes it was stamped all you need is love. Ok so I am a Beatles fan…lol. I will be posting pics tonight before I send out the invites so look for a new thread by me tonight.

P.S. Ours are pretty informal though so it might depend on what effect you are lookign for.

I used a rubber stamp that said “all you need is love” and a rubber stamps of a bride and groom silhouette on the back of our envelopes, and everyone gushed over how fun that it looked!

if a stamp is your trademark thang, then carry it on. A wedding is personally about you, right? Me… today I saw the wax and stamps. When I was a little girl my grandfather had wax and stamps and he would let me melt wax and seal it with a stamp.. so that’s what I am going to do if i get anything that seals with an envelope.

@kiparker: No they’re not embossed, but it would be very easy to do if i had an embossing tool! its just shimmery silver ink

I also used a rubber stamp that fit our theme. I loved it, so much more unique than a address label, plus you can use it over and over again! Go for it. P.S. I got mine off etsy
