I like them but I think they would be even better if they were fluffier. Like this?

Going for absolute and complete honesty, I think they look like bath loofahs. And they just have an ‘unfinished’ look to them – I think it’s because the petals don’t really seem to have any rhyme or reason for placement.

I’m really sorry and I’m not trying to be mean or harsh or anything, and you probably spent a lot of time on it, but I just wanted to give you honest feedback.

for them to look ok, i’d say remake them to look ruffly, like in the picture JenGirl posted

I don’t think they necessarily need to be fluffier or fuller, but if you are going to cover them with a single layer of rose petals, I would start at the bottom, do one row at a time covering the cirumference and overlap the petals as you go up.

@HisNightOwl2014:  I wouldn’t say they looked bad but IMO they would look better fuller…..I made pomanders with artificial flowers and they were fluffy and I just think they look better that way. I actually bought my stems of artificial flowers all from the dollar tree to make my pomanders and they were really cheap and easy to make and no one could tell they were from the dollar treee….got tons of compliments on them.

If you are set on the petals I would just beef it up a bit b/c they just look a lil skimpy right now.

i think you need waaaaaaaay more petals scrunched up together to give it a full look.
