I think it’s lovely. I don’t understand your concern.

Your ring is gorgeous and I personally love when it looks splintery

I think your ring is stunning. What’s wrong with it not looking like a diamond if it’s not a diamond?

If you are trying to pass it off as a diamond, yes its the wrong cut. That splintery cut is basically the “moissanite cut” and a dead giveaway.

It’s a beautiful ring. Don’t go larger if you want people to think it’s a diamond–based upon what I’ve seen on the Bee the larger you get the more apparent the differences become.

ETA: Did you edit that part out? Or am I recalling a different post?

I mean it’s not a diamond so it won’t look like one. But I think your ring is just beautiful!  Don’t give that comment another thought!  Sounds like a jealous “best friend” to me.

It isn’t a diamond, so people that can pick up on the difference are going to be able to tell that it’s not a diamond.  Not everyone will be able to tell the difference, and not everyone that can tell the difference will say anything, but if people knowing that it isn’t a diamond is an issue for you, then perhaps moissanite isn’t for you.  Maybe consider getting something else that doesn’t look like it is trying to be a diamond…colored gemstones perhaps?  Or just get a diamond.

It’s not a diamond so it’s not going to look like one, that being said it’s a beautiful ring!!!
