bakerbee09 :  So. I don’t understand why you posted? If you like the fact that it doesn’t look like a diamond then …. I don’t understand your post

I am having the same issue with my ring so i totally get it! i think your ring is beautiful, i would go check out east west gem on insta there rings have that crush ice look which i think looks more “realistic” but i think your ring is beautiful. do YOU love your ring is the question

I think it’s beautiful but I had the same concern so I returned mine and got the crushed ice. The pic looks a little yellow but it’s the indoor lighting, it’s very white and diamond like. You do what’s best for you, if you love it keep it regardless of your friends opinions. Again beautiful ring!

I think it’s lovely.

if you love it, don’t listen to your friend.

jealousy sucks! lol  here’s my diamond, which I think looks “splintery” in some lights too…? And if it were bigger that would likely show more,

idk

It’s a beautiful ring and your friend was rude.  And the next time just tell her that you know it doesn’t look like a diamond because it’s not a diamond!

Oval C&C moissanites are the least diamond-like looking moissanites (outside of the square brilliants)…

Did you not do your research before purchasing, or…?

Also, I see you’re flagging a lot of commentor’s replies, but no one is violating the TOS here by stating the obvious. I’m sorry your friend doesn’t like your ring – do YOU like it?

Thank you, it’s the Harro gem crushed ice, I started with the brilliant but wasn’t crazy about it.

So, did you like your ring before your friend commented?

Did her comment suddenly make you realize you hate your ring?

I guess I don’t understand the question or the problem.  You bought a moissanite looking moissanite that you purposely bought with the intent of being a proud moissanite owner because you had a diamond and were like thank you, next so…

Some people like the look.  Some don’t.  Who the f*** cares what people think or say?  They don’t have to wear it.  So do you like it or don’t you?

I think only forever 1 looks cold and splintery. I also think the hearts and arrows are really contrasty.

Oec have big fat facets. If you were to get a regular moissy in that cut I think you’d be very happy. Warmer and not splintered.

Some people like that look, others don’t.

bakerbee09 :  I don’t know about splintery butit looks sparkly and pretty.  I pretty much can never tell if something is diamond or not unless it’s like a cocktail ring.  But even then…who knows theres some super rich people by my work. People always think my CZ earrings are real diamonds. Nope just sparkly hypoallergenic earrings I can wear, yay!

bakerbee09 :  But since you bought it knowing it was a moissanite (obviously) and you like the look of it, then why does it matter if someone else says it doesn’t look like a diamond? I don’t understand what the problem is.
