I don’t like it.  I mean, it’s not the worst I’ve ever seen, but all this hype about how he designed it for a year?  I expected something else.  It reminds me of some type of 70s mirror or something…

@HeMadeMeWantTo:  I would have said the same thing that I said.

I think it’s probably just because people know she’s not going to read it.

I like it for her. Tablet cuts are really cool.

I think it’s nice to see something that isn’t round cut, a halo, or a round cut/halo with a ton of round stones on the side. I like that, at the very least, she is rocking something unique!

@MrsBlueSeptember:  I was thinking the same thing about the diamonds! It strikes me odd that she would go for such an enormous diamond when she HAS to know what the diamond industry can do to communities in other countries. Unless all of those rocks are certified conflict-free? But even then…

The ring itself really isn’t my style at all, but hopefully she likes it!

I started with UGH! but the more I looked at it, I actually like the look.  Would I choose it Nah.. It’s WAY to big for me.

but, my mom would have loved it. She loved the big gold colored jewelry, I’m sure Brad knew her style and hey she seems very center stage with her relationship, she probably went and picked it out with him or at least maybe she had someone draw something up she liked.

Heck all I know is I’m sure that ring cost wayyyyyy more than I will ever see in my lifetime and I’m sure they will be happy.

I think it’s terrible. All that money and he chooses that.

KatyElle , Yeah I’m sure she will. I just thinks it’s ironic that so many bees are quick to tell another bee how pretty her ring is, but yet be so critical of someone else’s. It’s all just so fake.

@HeMadeMeWantTo:  1. There was a poll asking if people liked it or hated it 2. If it is a bees ring and someone does not like it generally they just do not post a reply 3. Angelina is neither the one posting it or going to be the one reading this.

Not really that messed up at all and somehow I imagine she won’t take it personally. My rings are not to everyones taste and that is okay. I am the one wearing them and I love them. I am quite positive Angelina would feel much the same.

    It reminds me of mini-blinds.

@HeMadeMeWantTo:  Yup well, that’s the world of celebrity. Same reason people buy magazines and watch tv. To have an opinion on someone the rest of the world has an opinion about.

@HeMadeMeWantTo:  I don’t think “fake” is the right word. I’d like to think nobody here would tell a fellow bee that her ring was ugly. If they disliked a ring, they would just close the post without comment. When you choose to become a celebrity, you are accepting that people will talk about you, and an engagement ring is included in that. It’s the price they pay for their million dollar lifestyle, and like KatyElle said, I think she’ll be just fine.

I love emerald cuts, and I actually love her ring. I’d personally prefer a thinner shank, though, and the long hair stuck on the prong is bugging the sh*t out of me!
