Most of the ones I’ve seen have a button on them next to the motion sensor.  If it didn’t have that, I’m not sure what I would do.  And why don’t they have automatic doors since you don’t have to touch anything else in the room?

Most automatic flushers that I’ve encountered have a button to manually flush if the censor doesn’t work.

I feel like an idiot waving my hand in front of those automatic paper towel dispensers

The funniest thing was when I was waving my hands underneath a faucet wondering why it wouldn’t work.  .Went to the next one. . nope.. .the little girl standing next to me had to tell me that they weren’t automatic.  LOL.  I had to turn the handles.

I’ve never had one not flush for me.  There’s been a few times I had to keep sitting down and standing up to get it to work though.

I’m a microbiologist so I love it when things are touch-free. I’ve never seen an automatic toilet without a manual flush button.

The automatic sink and soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers are great for germophobes like me.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy:  I know!! They definitely need to have automatic doors! I always open the doors with paper towels cause there is no way I’m touching those nasty things! lol

I like the touchless stuff but I do hate when they don’t work. Like one time it took me 10 minutes to get soap and water since the sensors sucked

I’ve never encountered automatic doors.  Unless you’re talking about doors with handicap mechanisms and then your body still has to make contact with them.

I’ve also never encountered an automatic toilet that didn’t also have a button you can use.  I like automatic stuff with the exception of automatic hand dryers, call me unenvironmental but my hands are still wet even standing there through two cycles!

@happyface:  Haha I didn’t even know you had to flush urinals! I thought it just went down the drain like a shower… shows how much I know lol

I really hate the automatic flush toilets. They continually go off while I’m trying to use it… and then I get sprayed by water. ugh.

I wish toilets just had foot pedals. NO WAY would I EVER touch a toilet handle. I’m flexible and I will always step on it.

There’s a casino near where my parents live that have automatic seat covers. Most amazing thing I’ve ever seen!

I will always make sure that the automatic flusher goes off. If it doesn’t, I press the little button on the side. My work has the auto flushes and faucest…makes it easier and more sanitary!
