I collect Fiestaware and have it in a “rainbow” of colors. We love it! It’s very sturdy, versatile, and collectable………a fun classic. And so inexpensive that it’s easy to add new colors or replace broken/lost pieces without breaking the bank………which is especially important when you have kids. They are “rough” on dinnerware, but the Fiestaware holds up! And your “pattern” is easy to find at most departments stores everywhere…..not going to disappear after a season or 2. It’s a good choice and I would “go” with the rainbow, as it makes it the most versatile and easy to change up your “look”, depending on your event, color schemes at the moment, etc. 🙂

I agree!! Stick with fiesta, I think it is amazing for every day use as well as for special occasions. It is just so dang cute! They also have some really awesome serving platters & bowls– check them out. I have registered & recieved a couple of the serving plates and LLOOVVEEE them!

Personally, I think the more mismatched & vibrant; the better. But I guess it’s all in your taste as well!

I have Fiestaware! I love it! The only thing I dont love is the bowls it comes with for us they are too small BUT we did buy the bigger ones! The good thing about Fiestaware is you can always add more things and  if one breaks or anything you can buy just 1 plate not like other sets when you would have to buy the whole set.

I have 5 colors. Pink 2 purples, colbolt and turquoise.

I think my fav part about Fiestaware is you can put it in the oven and they are really heavy duty!

I have my parents hand me down set of fiesta ware (well what’s left of it).  I love it – sometimes you just need colorful plates!

@vistagirl:  I was going to bring this up, too.  My atomic physics professor use to get so excited when he could find the radioactive type for his collection.

I said no, find something else, but if you could do a few different color combos, like a PP had pictures of, that might be nice. I just don’t like the rainbow idea for whatever reason– though I can’t figure out why.

You know what– I think it’s the warm colors that I don’t like (I’ve been staring at the pictures, lol). If I had to get Fiestaware, I would get the cool colors only. But that’s just me.

FH & I have black everything (counter tops in kitchen & bathrooms, large & small kitchen appliances, etc)– including dishes, and I like ’em, because I don’t have to worry about if my table cloths/ cloth napkins/ nice serving dishes/ etc. are going to match because black goes with everything.

I love fiestaware. It can be used for any occasion! You can also stick with one or 2 colors, instead of using all colors.

I love the Ivory+Cobalt+Peacock+Chocolate combo shown in the photo above! It’s so sleek and stylish, perfect for a modern girl’s kitchen.
