I’d say go for it! The name we have picked out for our future son has a first, middle and last name that start with a “L” and we absoloutely love it!

@SnowInApril:  Well, I’ve got one right now (about to change to a different first letter for my last name when we get married), and I’ve always thought it’s nice/fine. Just make sure the names don’t have other similarties, like rhyming, etc.

ETA: Right now, I’m CC. Hard to find!

I have an alliterative name and, by coincidence, so does Fiance (though I wont be an alliteration anymore after we’re married). I think that as long as it sounds right when you say it out loud, you’ll be fine!

I’m a little late to the party but I like it! SO’s surname starts with M and I love a lot of M first names ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it’s ok as long as the names aren’t too similar and it’s not a really odd letter that is alliterated. Letters that I wouldn’t go for are FF, QQ, UU, XX, YY, or ZZ. They would drive me up a wall, as I would constantly be seeing “Precious Snowflake Syndrome”. Otherwise, not a problem!

SnowInApril:  I LOVE alliterations! I think it’s really cute! I once knew a girl whose name was ALL alliterations. VVV. It was really pretty.

My names before I got married started with the same letter (different lettered middle name), and my husband’s first and last name both start with the same letter. Therefore, I don’t think it’s weird, but as others have said, it depends on how the names flow together.

SnowInApril:  I think it can be totally cute! I wouldn’t worry about it too much. ๐Ÿ™‚

My names start with the same letter, and I love it. D___ Dixon. My best friend from High School used to be named J____ Johnson and she loved it also. I also plan on naming my baby a H H name.

When I get married I will be “L L” so maybe I’m just biased but I think it’s great ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think it depends on the name combo. Some will sound great while others sound silly. Most of the time I think they sound fine.

Sarah Simmons, Catie Campball, and Joshua Jackson are better than Moxie Crimefighter any day of the week! ๐Ÿ˜‰
