    While I will be the first to admit that I don’t love red and purple together, I think everything pulls together nicely. Actually, I think I would like it less if it had a silver or white ribbon. So I say go for it!

    I like it more than I thought I would. 🙂 It’s visually interesting and doesn’t look plain because of your purple use. I like it.

    I like the roses bouquets, I like the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and I like both red and purple but not together.  I think they clash.  I personally think ivory coloured roses with the purple ribbon would go better with the lavender dresses.

    Red and purple go together just fine. If you love the look, it doesn;t matter what others think.

    Make a sample bouquet with the silver ribbon (or other color of your choice) and see how you like that in comparison.

    I think I like the ribbons hanging off more because it breaks up the blocks of red and purple, you still get the effect of having both colors but they don’t fight each other as much
