What do you guys think? Do they go together? We’re getting married in October, with an autumn color scheme of brown/burnt orange, etc.
They will both be in Espresso, and the Maid/Matron of Honor dress will have black lace detailing at the top (I think it works bc the men will be wearing black suits with espresso brown ties).
You can see it better here: http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/2852/?color=espresso&colorid=15#.UF-0GqT–1_

While I love the details on both dresses, the expresso with the black on the Maid/Matron of Honor dress doesn’t flow well to me.

The dresses are pretty. I also have no problem with brown and black. I think a lot of people do though. It’s one of those “fashion rules” that I think as stupid.

The dresses are nice, but I agree with PPs about the black lace on a brown dress, I think it would like much nicer with a cream or ivory lace.

Yeah I don’t have a problem with black and brown together as long as it’s intentional. Brown shoes with black pants on accident is not cute lol. But I think this will look good together.

The black can’t be changed unfortunately on the Maid/Matron of Honor dress. No matter what color you pick for the satin part, the black remains the same =/
I wasn’t sure about the brown and black either, but once I saw this on the guys, I really liked them together:

I love them both! I wish I was your Maid/Matron of Honor.

I like them. If you want them both to have lace you can add a black lace sash to the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. I got this one from etsy seller lovelikestyle. I think its $27.
