I agree with your Fiance.  I hate bugs!! Is there a similar silver china sans bugs?

I’m gonna be brutally honest here…any bug that flies grosses me out!!! I don’t think I would want to eat with one but I would never judge you for it if that’s what you like.

Yes I am also very turned off by the bug…especially while I’d be eating..Im sure you can find another china pattern similar to this without the bug! ๐Ÿ™‚

If you like it, then go for it.  But the only thing I would say is that it may be hard to buy extra sets if Kate Spade ever stops selling them, and I haven’t seen many with dragonflies on them.

That said, I like bugs, and dragonflies lol, so I like them.

Have you checked out Crate and Barrel’s china?  They have some cool patterns that don’t feel stuffy and are interesting.  And they rarely discontinue their china.

I have always loved those Kate Spade patterns that have the dragonfly.  Lots of people don’t get the style, but who cares?  They are your dishes.  ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t think the china pattern is too weird. Its nice, although it’s not my taste. It was really sweet of your Fiance to say you can choose, but I think you should find a pattern you both like since you will be sharing it together as a married couple ๐Ÿ™‚

This was my second favorite pattern after the one we ended up with (Kate Spade Gardner Street). Mind you I’m a big fan of dragonflies, and I love the crackle pattern accents.

I like them, but I don’t mind dragonflies and I love the crackly parts ๐Ÿ™‚   If it were me though I would try to find something we both liked.

Not my style.  I think they are too trendy personally.  China I think should be classic.

Dragon flies are not so classic….
