I love it! Are you worried about the limes drying out though?

@Lacelibs:  I like it but I would add water and double the baby’s breath. It would look more plush.

What kind of tone are you trying to set for your reception?  I always find baby’s breath very traditional/vintage/romantic while the likes are a bit more structural/modern.  I might try it with something like a spider mum and see what you think but if you really love the lime/baby’s breath combo that’s all that matters.

@Lacelibs:  http://pinterest.com/awinfree/shani-bridal-shower/ Look at this link….scroll down the page midway to see the pics. If you cut the limes, add water and more flowers, it will look so expensive. Baby’s breath is really chic, I would not add any filler to it. Look at the pic and tell me if you like it. I’m going to hang around to see your response.

@Lacelibs:  Use it as your inspiration. I’m a girls girl so I love the ribbon being added. I think it super cute and inexpensive but nobody will know:0)

Looking at that inspiration pic posted above, I agree that your’s need to be a little fuller, but I don’t like the ribbon. I prefer the vases ribbon-less!

I agree with a PP that the limes with the baby’s breath are kind of a style clash. I like the general idea a lot but I would either change the vase filler or change the flower.

limes. baby’s breath.  these 2 decorating details clash with each other.  one is trendy the other is not.

what about something like this.  keep in mind, your vases are large and tall so your flower arrangement needs to reflect that.

What about small white stones?

I disagree that the limes clash, in fact I’ve seen it before. Here’s another example
