I would suggest 3/4 sleeves and better fitted. It just looks too long and bunched up at the moment. Otherwise it’s a lovely dress and would look great with some awesome accessories!

You may not be liking it because of the way the lines hit you. A necklace that could draw the eyes up to the neck rather than the top of the bodice could help. Something even as simple as this could make all the difference. The dress is lovely.

Would you consider a small dip in the neckline? Not a full sweetheart but a small, delicate curve. I think the straight neckline of the white lining is a bit harsh. I agree with PP about the sleeves (shorten to 3/4 length) and the overall fit (should be tailored more to you). Otherwise, I think it looks beautiful!

I agree that 3/4 or elbow length sleeves would elevate this dress. The lace is pretty but the overly long sleeve is ruining it in my opinion.

Ok, I love it to bits.  Really unique, the neckline is COOL, and the lace is stunning.  It would be nice if you could somehow get rid of the seams at the shoulders, but honestly that’s probably not possible and I don’t see them as a “problem” anyway.  I love it!  I’m a big fan of dresses that don’t look like every other dress, but are still stylish and fashion forward.  Please please don’t change it!

I love the idea, I’m not a fan of the high neckline and maybe better fitted sleeves, waist and hemline. The lace is beautiful though!

I love the unique mock neck and like the long sleeves, but I do think the sleeves need to be shortened due to the bunching at the wrists and elbows. Also I think the openings of the sleeves should be very fitted to your wrist or forearm if the sleeves are ending with raw lace; IMO wider sleeve openings look a bit off unless they are finished with some sort of cuff.

nevicas :  It is a very ethereal and romantic style; love particularly the neckline, which does not call for a necklace at all. The sleeves do need to be shortened, I’d say to your wrists, and that’s about all.  Beautiful dress, you did good!

Hmm. I really like it. It’s a unique design and will suit your figure beautifully once it’s been taken in a bit at different spots.

There’s something “missing” where the lining of the bodice traditions to just lace. It seems a bit abrupt and somewhat unfinished. I also agree with PPs about bringing the sleeves up; either a shorter long sleeve or a 3/4 length sleeve would be lovely.

I love your dress it is beautiful!! What are you having second thoughts about?! I do agree that the sleeves are currently over long, but I’m assuming that will be finished at the end. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is, as PP suggested, to turn the under white layer into a mini-sweetheart instead of stright across. That would help with the lines, since you have the straight across waist as well. You can also add a belt with some more interest, like pearls or crystals, and maybe if it was alittle skinnier it would help? But I think you look absoluetly stunning! I love the pattern on the top portion!
