this is the latest incarnation of my invitations – what do you think? It’s totally different than what I was doing before. It’s looking crazy pixelated because on screen it’s way bigger than reality – it’s actually only about 3×5. The purple is also closer to eggplant than the bright colour showing here (I wish I could upload a PDF!)
ETA: changed the image format – this version is a little clearer (still not as good as the PDF)

I love the idea of it, but it looks a little busy, maybe a little too much use of the swirly type font.
My eyes actually had to adjust to read it.

@AlmostMrsPeck: Is the Art Collection some kind of camp or cabin? The “Celebrate” font is making me think of camping for some reason. If that’s the feel of your wedding, I love it!

@AlmostMrsPeck: I find the something something Art Collection part especially hard to read!

There is a LOT going on! I like it, though!

I just find it extremely busy if that makes sense. Lots of different fonts! It’s cute though!

I like the concept, but the spacing seems a little tight. I also think there are a lot of fonts going on here, which makes it look a bit busy. The purple in the middle is a little distracting as well, but when I imagine eggplant, it looks better in my mind.

It loads slightly better in this format.

It’s cute but like others have already said it needs less types of fonts to make it easier to read

@jenilynevette: it’s not as hard to read as it is here, the jpg really screwed it up – I eported as PDF from illustrator I think that’s why
@MexiPino: it’s an art gallery, it is kinda cabiny though, it’s in the woods
@mchitt329: maybe I’ll switch that font – it is a little tight
@BrandNewBride: @lauraashley09: There were actually more fonts in my inspiration one if you can believe it!
@LindyLu: is the new picture better?

- Wedding: September 2014 - Banff, Alberta
@AlmostMrsPeck: I really like it! I like the circusy type feel.
A few suggestions:
Move May or make slightly smaller so it doesn`t run into the year.
I also think the art collection part is hard to read.
Love the other fonts though!!

I think there are too many fonts – I would pick 2 or 3 max and make it look more cohesive.
The general format is easy to follow – but I think it’ll look better with 2 fonts for the writing and maybe a third for your names.
Also the celebrate their wedding – either take the purple banner out or have it over the whole piece.

I like it, but agree that its a big too much going on. I’ve worked in the wedding invitation industry for 10 years so I love, love, love looking at interesting invites and fonts. I would add a ‘th’ after 17 and I would also re-structure your names to look more like the sample…side by side inside of on top of each other with the ampersand in the background…just my opinion 🙂
