If the salads aren’t made with dairy or mayonnaise, I could probably eat those…. As a non-meat/non-dairy eater, it’s difficult to eat when there are mainly meat/dairy only options available.

@happyface:  I think the OP mentioned that no guests attending the wedding have any food specificties.

I think the menu sounds like the perfect BBQ and now I’m hungry.

I vote replace one of your pasta/macaroni salads with regular macaroni.

Then invite me, cause this sounds delish 😉

Everything sounds yummy.  How about cole slaw or a green salad (or some other veggie side to go along with the starchy ones)?

@sailor:   A green salad would be a nice addition. Maybein place of either the pasta or potato saald?

@MissBoPeep:  I agree, but I would keep the potato salad and eliminate either macaroni salad or pasta salad.

@sailor:   Oops, that’s what I meant! I knew there were two that were similar but forgot what they were as I was typing my response!

I would definitely keep the chicken.

@MissBoPeep:  Yeah, I’m not sure of the difference between macaroni salad and pasta salad (is it that mac salad is mayo based and pasta salad is vinaigrette based?) but I think two pastas are overkill.  And I love me some potato salad at a BBQ.

I think that sounds great. I’d repeat some PP’s and say a green salad or veggie platter would probably be nice too.

One thing I’ve been meaning to try on the grill are Hawaiian Skewers. They would totally not be necessary, but might be something fun and a little different.  Bacon wrapped chicken, mushrooms and pineapple. http://diaryofarecipeaddict.blogspot.com/2010/07/hawaiian-kabobs.html

@MerryWidow:   If you have a green salad then I think both the pasta salads are fine! It all sounds delicious. 🙂
