My Fiance and I are writing our own vows, we came up with a PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE theme to them and are to be between 45 seconds to a minute long. We are both ending them with the same line (in bold), but his will say husband where mine says wife. what do you think?
“FI, thankyou for the last six years, its proven you are going to be an amazing husband. You have always supported me in everything I do. You always make me smile even when times are tough. All you have to do is smile at me & my heart still soars.
Today I feel like we are the strongest we have ever been. I promise to accept you as you are today, kind, funny, handsome, smart, loving & a full on computer geek. But you are my best friend, everything I could hvae wished for in a man. I feel truely luckly to today become your wife.
I promise to be by your side no matter what our future holds. I promise to be honest & faithfally yours. I will always love you and promise to be the best wife I can be.”
Any bees have any advice on how no to cry? I have been practising and every time i get up to “best friend” I cry.. hahaha eeeek!!

You’re so cute! I say you just cry, but maybe work on crying in a pretty way. Ha! This idea came to me today while I was driving and teared up at the mere thought of my dad watching the slideshow that I haven’t even made yet. :
I figure I’m going to cry my face off all darned day anyway, I might as well start working on looking less ugly while I do it, bahaha. Good luck!!

Beautiful words…don’t worry about not crying! Be natural! That’s what makes it so wonderful!

ages ago, my high school english teacher once told me to stop a laugh or prevent yourself from crying, hold the tip of your tongue between your teeth and bite down gently!

My fiance always makes this one silly little face at me when I’m starting to cry over something silly, and it makes me smile. It’s not like he rolls his eyes and hangs out his tongue or anything obvious, it’s just a look he does that makes me grin a bit. Maybe make a little code look for the two of you – when you see him do this or that, it means something a bit silly. Then you’ll smile instead of cry. :o)
Beautiful vows, by the way!
