I love the name Olivia and Ethan, but both are in the top 10 names of 2011 so if that bothers you you might want to look into that.

I am parital to Oliva because that is my daughter’s name.  I would not be dissuaded by it being in the top 10 or whatever- my daughter is now in the 3rd grade and has never had another Olviia in her class and doesn’t know any other little girls by that name.  So yes, it is popular but as bad as you night think.

I love the names! I also like Samuel Ethan… depending on your last name, it seems like it would flow well.

CONGRATS on your pregnancy!

I think calling him Cade is cuuute! What an adorable name.

I have always loved the name Olivia, but it is too popular for my taste. I had always wanted to name my naughter Zoey, and my hubby loved it too, but it’s getting so popular now. And contrary to other posters, I know several Olivia’s, in many age ranges. But it’s an adorable name! So if you love it don’t let that deter you.

Olivia is one of my all time favorites—actually it’s Liv and Livy that I love but I like Olivia a lot as well.

I actually prefer Samuel to Ethan, mainly because I think Sam is very cute. My neighbors have a son named Cade. It’s not very common but it’s nice.

I love the name Olivia.

I must admit, I have never heard the name Cade before.  If I hadn’t read it here, and heard it somewhere in real life, I would probably wonder why someone would name their son Kate.
