I have to say I like the white one! Very pretty!

I have to second PP, I really like the white one as well! Is it you in the picture? Or have you tried on white wedding dresses before?

While I don‘t have any problems for brides wearing something not white, I personally would not go for a dark blue color. But the dress is beautiful, nevertheless, and in the end it‘s about what you feel best in.

Do you plan on dancing? If so, I think you will roast in the velvet dress. Hell, I would roast in it just sitting.

Both of those dresses are gorgeous. I’m a big fan of non traditional wedding dresses and to be honest I almost didn’t go with a traditional dress myself. If you like it, go for it!! No one says you have to wear white to feel bridal. You’ll feel bridal if you feel you look your best no matter what. 🙂

When is your wedding? Velvet with sleeves needs to be winter only.

The velvet dress is stunning.

The white one I’m not a big fan of. The netting material and seam makes it look like you are wearing your regular bra underneath a very low cut dress.

I definitely am big on choosing what you love and feel good in, buuuuuut also take into consideration what month you’re getting married in and how a velvet dress will wear all day. I REALLY wanted a dark burgundy or burnished copper velvet dress with sleeves as my wedding dress. Buuuuut I’m getting married in October and though the weather will be a bit more crisp, we have Indian summers where I live (can be very warm in October) and I didn’t want to roast in my dress all day. We’re having an outdoor ceremony and I LOVE to dance, so I chose a more breathable cut and fabric by going with a more traditional wedding dress (still my style though). I might go for a velvet dress for the dress rehearsal or my bridal shower but will likely forego the sleeves.

I like both of the dresses you posted but also consider the color of the velvet dress. It might blend in with your surroundings. If you go for something velvet, I suggest exploring different silhouettes, necklines, and colors first.

The black dress is gorgeous but it says “Mortician Adams” to me, more than “bride”.  The white one is divine

To be honest, neither dress is great to me. I think you can do better.

I love the nontraditional one and it is the exact thing I imagine myself wearing.  Go with your heart! I honestly thing traditional dresses are overrated

Now that last one is nice!  It has the shape and figure huggingness you clearly like , but is elegant and a bit different at the same time.
