I forgot to mention that all of the starters will be served during cocktail hour, instead of while sitting down for dinner. There is about an hour and a half allocated for this.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a sushi cake?
the apps aren’t looking as appealing to me as the rest of the menu. I happen to not eat seafood and don’t like mayo particularly. I could definitely eat though! It just seems heavy on the beef and seafood.

@Taubs: As soon as I started reading your menu I had to check where you were from because it sounds like Australian venue food.
I think it sounds really nice and the level of food that is expected at a wedding/function here.

Mains sound nice if a bit boring, but most people like that sort of thing… appetizers sound totally AMAZING.

WOW you have something for everyone- don’t change a thing and can I come?

@Taubs: I would these the salt/pepper prawns for coconut prawns or something else because the mayo sounds so unpleasant. I’d also swap out one if the beef starters for bacon wrapped scallops or something of that nature. Or how about spanakopita?
