We had our tasting recently and are trying to select our menu options…these are the ones I think we’re going to go with. Would you have enough to eat? Do you have a dietary concern that would be an issue with this menu (note: they can make special entree accommodations for any food allergies or for vegan diets)? Tell me your thoughts!
Just for some background info, we are having our ceremony at 6, and then cocktail hour begins promptly at 6:30 – everything is at the same venue.
Coconut shrimp (passed)
Prosciutto-wrapped asparagus (passed)
Pesto-stuffed mushrooms (passed)
Spanikopita (spinach pie) (passed)
Cheese, fruit, cracker display
Tuscan salad w/ rolls & butter
filet mignon with mushroom demi-glace, whipped potatoes, roasted veggies
parmesan & herb-crusted halibut with rice pilaf and roasted veggies
pasta shells stuffed with roasted veggies, ricotta, parmesan, topped with tomato sauce
Wedding cupcakes (flavours TBD – probably an assortment)
Dessert table with mini-cannolis, lemon bars, brownies, cheesecakes, cookies, chocolate-dipped strawberries, etc.
Deluxe coffee station with assorted mix-ins and toppings (whipped cream, chocolate shavings, sprinkles, flavourings, etc.)
Late-Night Snack (this will actually be served at our after-party at around 12AM):
House-made pizza (plain, pepperoni, and veggie)
Sliders with assorted condiments (sauteed onions, cheese, tomatoes, etc)
