I’m not a fan of any of your girl names simply because they end in “e” sound. Girls names ending in vowel sounds just seem childish. My fav girl names happen to be Campbell and Vivian.

I’m probably someone you’d consider boring with baby names.  My husband and I havent discussed specific names yet, but we agree that if we can’t find it on one of those tourist keychains thing, then it’s probably a no go for us.

I read “Briley” and immediately thought, “That is NOT a real name!” Sorry ๐Ÿ™

@MrsN14:  As someone from NJ, I’m not a fan of the name “Trenton” for a boy!  Same goes for people who name their kid “Camden”…these are both “not so great” areas of the state lol!

I do like Aubrey for a girl though…very pretty! ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree with previous posters, most of them sound too “try hard” and very trendy. My great aunt was named Callie, however…I think that one’s a pretty cute name.

I’m not sure any woman could get thru pregnancy without forever associating the name Braxton with Braxton-Hicks contractions, so that would be out for me!

@MrsN14:  I agree with PPs that most of them sound like names from Teen Mom. Sorry! ๐Ÿ™

I do like the following ones you listed though:

Lincoln

Aubrey

Jackson

Kennedy

I think those ones are kind of cute and could be shortened if future-baby wanted to use a nickname.

@Twiglets:

Another substitue for Briley could be Briony.  I believe its a more popular one in the UK, but not in the US.  I read it in the book Atonement first, but I’ve heard it a couple of times since.  I didn’t like it at first, but its growing on me.

I LOVE Aubrey. But like it Aubree it seems more feminine. I just had to have my say as Aubree is my favourite girls name of all time!!! Fiance hates it though and this makes me sad.

Since I think a couple should agree on names, of the ones you have, I like Boys – Brody, Colton, and Bentley. Trenton sounds made up/weird to me (like Trent with an add-on). Girls – I like Aubrey, Kennedy, and Cali. BUT if you go with Cali I would name her Calista, and then call her Cali. I think it’s cute, but too cutesy to be an official given name.  Agreed that Briley sounds like a compromise between two names you couldn’t pick between.
