My Fiance vetoed a tea-length or shorter dress (even though we’re getting married on a farm!!), as he likes the “goddess look” of longer dresses, especially on tall girls like me 🙂 I love thier sassiness, though…how chic and gusty are these on this thread?! And the Justin Alexander makes me want to go try on dresses again…gorg!

I think they’re so adorable. We’re getting married in winter, so I didn’t think it was appropriate, but I really like them!

I love short dresses… They just ended up being harder to find, so I ended up with a long dress, but I would have gone for it if I had found one as gorgeous as the Justin Alexander!

I’m wearing one so obviously I think they’re cool. We are having a casual summer wedding outdoors. Also I just can’t see myself in a full on formal wedding dress because that’s just not me…

I think they are absolutely adorable. Most people have at least one picture of their parents or grandparents from the 30s-60s getting married in a short dress so it’s not a completely novel idea that just sprung up out of the blue. I personally would not wear one because I feel ridiculously self-conscious in short skirts. Can’t explain why but I do. But if someone else wants to wear one, she should go for it and not care what other people think.

I want one for my beach wedding… with flip flops.  I actually think I am going to go with a lavendar/silvery bridesmaid dress that I saw through J.Crew a little while ago.

They’re cute but I had no desire for one.  I can buy a short dress for any day of the year, but not for my wedding day!

This was alllllmost my dress.  I saw it online and it was the only wedding dress at that point that I could picture myself in it.  When I tried it on, the opinion from my sister, mom, and aunt was “eh”.  It was a gorgeous dress, but it didn’t have that wow factor.  I ended up with a long dress with a train.  I’m still keeping a dress like this in mind for the rehearsal dinner, but I am looking for a vintage one.

It still makes my heart flutter when I look at the picture, but it’s not The One.
