I would go with the 2nd sleeve option, don’t know what you would call that. I don’t think the hip area looks odd at all, it’s asymmetrical which is rather trendy right now.

Edit to add: is it possible to find the dress in a local salon and try it on to see if you like it before purchasing?

I prefer the look of the second sleeve as well as the more asymmetrical hip ruching. Is this a current dress; because, if it is, you could always try to find a nearby salon that carries and try it on — you could also try on a couple of boleros to get a sense of what the sleeves would look like.

To be completely honest, I don’t love it. The asymmetry at the hip looks haphazard and I’m not crazy about the plain material and construction of the skirt. But if you love it, you should get it.

    Looks pretty to me!

Only thing would be that the way the skirt is cut could either look really nice, or not-so-flattering depending on your body-type.

To be entirely honest, I’m not loving it. Something about the ruching on top and none on the bottom is odd to me…

Honestly, I don’t love it. The lace looks very randomly place, and I don’t like the lace peeking out from underneath the otherwise plain skirt.

I don’t like how asymmetrical it is around the hip area. If I chose the dress though, I would go with no straps.

@Crabcakes1027:  I like the top and very bottom but think its odd that you have detail and embellishments but a very plain skirt Between them. If you go with it, I think either straps or no straps would bw fine.

I’m not a fan of harsh seems accross the hips. I feel like it makes the area look wider. I do like the design on the top though if you’re not worried about that.

To be honest it’s not my favourite dress 🙁 but then again, it’s not me who’s wearing it so I wouldn’t care about that! 😀 If I were to do straps I like the first ones, but I am not sure why you’d be adding straps? Obviously, a poo choice if you want to hide your arms. But for support? I like the first ones 🙂 x
