Beautiful!! It is different from so many dresses I have seen – which makes it so uniquely yours 🙂 And, it looks stunning on you!

I wasn’t too big of a fan of this particular dress, but it’s a matter of personal taste! I’m not one for pickups and the asymmetrical rouching bits aren’t the most flattering to me, especially with the last one seeming to bejewel nether regions. lol! I think you have a great body though and thing the trumpet/mermaid silhouette and sweetheart neckline looks really nice on you, as does the lace bit on the bottom!

i don’t think it’s very flattering, especially with the middle band that hits at the hips. it makes your midsection look much bigger than it actually is. (even the tiny model looks very hippy in this dress)

I agree with everything @elliestan and @kitzy said. I am not a fan of where the gathers are on this dress, not just on you but the model too. It seems to do the inverse of what it should to accent a womanly shape.

I’m sorry but I think you can find a mermaid style dress that gives your figure more of the wow factor. You have a good figure but it is lost in that dress. I think you need a dress that comes in tighter at your natural waist.

See even on the mannequin, it does not show off her curves. You have ‘em baby show them off!

So I just frieghtened myself because i recognized that it was an Alfred Angelo dress before I read any of your post. What has happened to me? I think it’s a very pretty dress and I’ve seen other designers with very similar dresses. I think it looks expensive and higher fashion than most bridal gowns. The most important thing is how you felt in it!

Do you like either of these? Both Maggie Sottero.

@MaiFuture: Gosh, I hate posting this but I agree with these PP’s.  I think where it gathers doesn’t flatter you.  It’s not you, it’s totally the dress – the fabric rouching is odd.  The fabric gatherings make your eyes go right, left, center and doesn’t have a nice flow. I think you could WOW in another mermaid dress without a doubt!
