Kids are cruel, I honestly think she would get teased alot with “Polly want a cracker”.

It’s cute, but not for a baby girl – all I can think of is what the other girls said “Polly want a cracker”

Eh, you can tease anyone for any name.  I don’t think Polly’s that bad at all – she’ll only be teased for it if kids are looking for a reason to tease her in the first place.  And if they’re looking for a reason, they’ll find one regardless of her name.

Any way Polly could be a nickname for a longer name, and you could just call her that at home and amongst friends?

I love it! I have a very good freind named Polly. Her full name was Apalonia.

And kids will find a way to make fun of every kid for everything. I don’t like using crazy names because they kid will have to be a person and live with it. But Polly is a normal name 🙂

Wow…I am really surprised by how many people don’t like Polly.

See…I grew up with the maiden name of “Cheap”….. and even with my normal 1st name “Laura”….as soon as Family Matters came out….everyone would make fun of me with the Urkel voice “Lauuurrrraaaa!”

They can honestly make fun of ANY name. If you really love Polly…go for it! 🙂

You could also name her Pollyanna and then you could call her Polly or Anna 🙂

I instantly thought of Polly Pocket. Which I liked as a kid, but I don’t know about FOR a kid. I actually kind of like Pollyana though.
