The pink piece is plantable paper that will grow wildflowers when planted. The whole thing is thinner than I expected so we may need to put them in envelopes. The plan is to do the following…
It’s an outdoors spring wedding 🙂

love it!! does it say or indicate on the card that it is supposed to be planted? most people would realize there’s a pot and soil, but I don’t think EVERYONE would knoe the paper is plantable.

+1 I’d never heard of and still have never seen plantable paper until I saw someone explain it here. I wouldn’t think to plant it!

@Jw1724: I got these at a wedding many years ago. Lost it when I got home. Years later, I found it agian and threw it away. They are cute, but I prefer edible favors.

there are directions on the back of the card 🙂
i appreciate that feedback. i was worried of this as well. i think its “original” enough that people will at least take them home… and i think it will work well for decor too. I like edibles as well so I’m hoping this will be a hit. We have lots of gardeners in the family.
thanks! directions are on the back 🙂

Looks really pretty! And what a great idea, it has a nice symbolic behind it too 🙂 of course some people might not take the time to plant it, but I think it’s worth it just for those who will! After all, people can get candy or chocolates everywhere, but they might not know where to get the plantable paper 🙂
