Hey all… trying to round up some ideas for our royal blue and bright yellow photo themed wedding in August. Here are some ideas we have so far:
Photo table numbers:
little poems and disposable cameras on each table:
polaroid guest book (or maybe just a framed photo canvas where guests sign…we haven’t yet decided)
We also plan to have photos of our parents’ weddings days displayed as soon as you walk in with either the cake table or the guest book table.
Anyone have any other ideas? I dont’ want to go overkill either… but thought these ideas were kind of neat.

love the idea, great way to make it about the two of you! Mabey put an insert telling guests that if they would like their wedding to be featured at your to please mail you their favorite photo, that way you could have a table of family weddings 🙂

The photo are numbers are cute – just an idea for a twist on that – at my sister’s wedding she used photo albums as the table numbers. The ones she used were these in black and red (her wedding colors).
She put the table number in the window on the cover. Inside each one had pictures of the bride and groom. For example, on one page it was each of their baby pictures, on another page it was each of their college granduations, etc. And then at the end it was a picture of them together. It was really cute and fun for the guests to pass around and look at. Plus it was a great keepsake for some of the family members to have after the wedding.
Just a thought! I love the Polaroid guestbook idea too.

@Mrs.H2B: I did the photo scavenger hunt too! The guests loved it.
You could ask your guests to bring a photo of themselves with you and/or your groom and use them to make a scrapbook. Or, that could be an alternate guest book idea. They could put their picture in a book with the photo corner holder things, then sign their name. That would be cute!

A picture perfect theme!
You could find a few old brownie cameras or old movie cameras and use those as decor on the bar, guestbook table, cake table etc.
Collect wedding photos of your close family/guests and display them.
photographs in oil
photo frame centerpieces
film canisters as escort cards
boutonniere wrapped with a strip of film
cupcake sleeves made of film
Obviously using all of these would be overkill, but just thought I’d share.
