So i have 5 bridesmaids. 1 hasn’t begun shopping yet. The other four have found dresses the *think* are the ones, but none are for sure. I want the dresses to be different shades of greys and purples. I was hoping for some more variation in the purple, but so far the 3 purples are very similar – all eggplant-ish. The 5th one i would ask to choose grey so that there isn’t 1 lone grey along with 4 purples.
None of these are for sure… but what do you think?

I love it! My bridesmaids all wore different blue dresses… so they’re the same-ish colors. But I also love the look of a colors all in the same family of colors. Looks great 🙂

@MrsPhilly: Wow I think they all look great together!

IMO the lace one looks odd-more like a “clubbing” type dress but thats just me. but I think the others flow very well!

Sorry, but it doesn’t work for me.

@MrsPhilly: I love all the colors! I actually think the grayish one blends in better with #1 and 4, probably because the color and the fabric of the dress in the 3rd pic is brighter and more textured than the rest. But they all look lovely!

you know, I think they all look pretty good together too! It’s just hard because some of the girls live further away, and scheduling is hard.. and the dresses are in different locations so i haven’t been able to actually see any of them side by side.
The lace one.. she said the colour she wants is actually a darker shade of purple. the dress comes in 2 shades, but the photo she gave me is in the lighter shade. It also comes in a gunmetal grey so she may get that.
I don’t feel the lace looks club – ish. But i respect the opinion! My dress is partly lace, and i love lace.. i really wanted one of them to have lace in their dress. I love that dress. Just wanted to make sure they all flow together

I don’t think the lace works. If you’re allowing freedom on color and shape maybe you could at least suggest a fabric

- Wedding: April 2013 - A court...
I like first and last one. I like mismatched look as long as the material, colour, or style is the same otherwise it just looks random imo

I think the lace one is the one that doesn’t look like it fits. The same dress in a more blue-ish tone may be more cohesive. It’s a love dress and I like the texture, but the color is throwing me off.

I think with matching Bouquets and accessories it could def work.

I think they need to be the same length

I agree they should be the same length.

@MrsPhilly: love all the colors but the lace isn’t doing it for me

if they’re going to do different shades of purple, at least have them all have a unified fabric- like all satin or lace or whatever
