You should reset it but wear it as a RHR, and keep searching for a new e-ring! : (5 votes)

Oh wow, such beautiful rings. Just curious, what did the original wedding band look like with the ering? Was it custom made to fit around it or something?

It’s a beautiful ring, but for me personally it doesn’t work with your wedding band, and I don’t think it would work with any straight band. Normally I’m into a gap, but it just doesn’t look like it will ever sit right. That being said, the only opinion that really matters is yours!

If you get another stone set in it, I would go with a diamond, but that’s just because I don’t like blue sapphires with yellow gold.

I like it, but I suspect I’ll be in the minority. I also love garnets, so I wouldn’t change the stone. But if I had to choose a new one, I think a sapphire would look nice too.

I think they are both lovely rings, but I don’t think they work well together at all. I would wear the garnet ring as RHR and get a new engagement ring with the insurance money from the old engagement ring.

@Miss Fish:  Ah, I got the ering and wedding band mixed up. I thought she lost the wedding band for some reason, oops! Good catch on your part.

Hmm your GG’s ring is absolutely gorgeous and unique. I wouldn’t change it. Maybe it would be better as a RHR? Just my 2 cents.
