I really want to buy robes as part of my Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts, but I have 5 BMs, meaning I’d like to buy 6, and I want to save some room in the budget for us to get pedis & to take them out to lunch, as well.
So, I found these & I think they’re cute & a great price. But do you think they look “cheap”, too short, or juvenile?
(This isn’t the only pattern- there is solid turquoise, solid navy, and a turqoise polka dot, I would let them choose the pattern they want)
If anyone has other suggestions of where to get robes or where they got theirs, please share 🙂

Its polyester, I don’t want to sound snobby but that will not feel good against your skin. I’d go cotton or silk.

@LGenz: Hm, I actually didn’t even look at the material lol I just liked the design. I guess that would make a difference!

I got my girls charter club cotton waffle robes at Macys on sale for like $20 a piece.

I bought these exact robes last year when they had the light and dark purple ones for my BMs and they dont feel bad at all. I dont wear robes and didnt want one, but ended up getting one for myself cause it was so comfortable (like you’re wearing nothing) and to wear for a few getting ready pictures. I say go for it, but the only color I liked personally for this seasons is the solid ones.

Honestly, I do think they look a little cheap. I would nix them altogether and just put the money into pedis etc., rather than giving these. What is your price range? Maybe you can find cotton ones somewhere else (etsy?) for a similar price…

@pinkshoes: Thanks for sharing your experience. Yeah, I personally like the solid navy one best.
@stillme: I did look on etsy, and wasn’t really impressed. JCPenny also has plain, white waffle knit ones (monogrammable) that I considered but I was worried that that looks “cheap”, too. I don’t have a set budget, but I would like to keep it under $30 each if at all possible.

I voted other because I’d rather have cotton than anything…and I definitely would go for a solid color. 🙂

I bought myself a robe from Belk a couple months that feels heavenly! It’s this one (looks better in person), but they have other styles. It was a little cheaper when I bought mine ($26) but look for jersey spandex
