I’ve previously written about my dress regret. The first dress has already been purchased. The second was my dream dress, but it’s more than I wanted to spend, with a train about 4 times the length I’d want, I’d really need to chop a lot off. The third is what the consultant offered after trying on the second and is right on price point, I like it, but wasn’t sold on it.
In my previous post, I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was about my dress that i didn’t like, but I think I am really drawn to the cap sleeves, key hole back, and more classic/classy looking lace. I feel like in the first one, the lace could be from a table cloth. My mom still liked the first one the most, because it ‘fit like a glove’, even though they all sit a bit too high on me.
What are your thoughts?

Go with your dream dress! It looks AMAZING on you! Can you cut the budget elsewhere?

Dress two is not cute. I like dress three or dress one.

I do like the first and 2nd (not crazy about the 3rd one). I would say though you love the style of your “dream dress” it’s not really your dream dress if it’s out of your budget and the train is so long. I tried on a dress (similar to that one) that I loved but it was heavy and had such a long train (gorgeous but not good for me and my outdoor wedding) so I kept looking and then I found my REAL dream dress.

I agree, though I have been having a hard time accepting it. It could fit more in budget if the train wasn’t so intricate, I’d have to remove the entire scalloped edge, cut it, and have it reattached, making an already expensive dress even more costly, in addition to the adjustments needed in the chest.
I do love the shape #2 gives me best though.

I think that the dream dress looks AMAZING on you. However, I don’t think that you should purchase that particular dress. I think that you should find a dress that looks similar to that dress at a different price point. I do not think that the first dress is the most flattering on you.

Oh WOW! Your dream dress is amazing. Have you thought about trying to buy a gently used dress? That could make it closer to your pricepoint.
(btw, what style is your dream dress?, I’m dying to know).

I love the second dress on you. It looks a lot like Maggie Sottero’s Bernadette. Is that it? Is there any chance you could just let the train be?

Both the 2nd and 3rd dress are gorgeous on you. I say either take the 3rd least expensive similar dress or go with your dream dress. I think they flatter your figure so much more than your dress.

i like the dress you already bought the best. i would however ask to get a heart neckline… but that’s just me because im crazy about heart necklines.

I actually LOVE the third dress! It’s much like the second, but I think the lace is so pretty. I’m not a big fan of the bling on the second dress–it seems too much to me, however, if you love it and can’t live without it, you should figure out a way to get it!

I like dress 1 on you the best.

I think the 3rd dress looks amazing. The lace is beautiful and the shoulder sleeves are perfect. I liked it better than your dream dress!
