First of all, I would contact your caterer to see if they are providing desserts. If they are, you don’t need to order so much cake.

The brooches are a nice touch! I’m not a fan of the letter bling as the cake topper though!

It is nice if you like a lot of bling on your cake. I would remove the monogram, however.

Personally I think it is a bit much, I really like soft traditional wedding cakes with beautiful flowers and vintage cake toppers instead of the bling, monogram and drapping route but if that is your style then I think that would be a fun way to display the cake and show all the angles as it rotates. I dont even think you need to add more brooches, I am sure the cake from all angles will still make a statement without them. The only other thought I had was if you go with the monogram cake topper it will be backwards when seen from other angles so there is that to think about..not a big deal but I didnt know if that bothered you or not 🙂

so much cake…but I like it. but I would feel so much will be thrown out at the end of the night IMO.

@amandamichael:  Looks like two different cakes put together to me, I’m all for making the layers different but that’s TOO different IMO.

Personally I like the sections with the dots more than the other two, but it all depends on what you like.  We went a completely different way for our main cake, but my FI really doesn’t like fondant (which I found out after I got the groom’s cake settled….whoops)

THe cake is amazing but i may be a little too heavy for a rotating cake stand… Maybe ask her how much weight the stand can hold.
