I think that it is best to stay with one (or max two) bright colors and then a more neutral one. But I’m sure that you can make anything beautiful! I didn’t really want to choose “terrible idea,” b/c no idea is terrible. I’m just worried that it might be a little overwhelming.

I think you can pull it off and make it lovely if you just use touches of red here and there.  Turquoise and red is a very Scandanavian color palette, so it’s totally doable.

I think you can totally do it.  LIke some of the other posts, just  make one of the colors the accent color.  Just touches here and there and let the other colors dominate!

I think you can do it… just make sure its a bright turquoise or else it might end up looking like elementary school colours!

She has some really awesome colour schemes. I didn’t see any red, turquoise & yellow together- but there are tons of colour inspiration boards! πŸ™‚

I love teal and yellow together!  In fact, I just painted my office yellow and put up teal curtains.  I’m not as big a fan of red and teal together–I think red goes better with a lighter aqua color.

If it were me, I’d go with your original turqoise and yellow scheme and go ahead and wear your shoes!  They’ll be a nice pop of unexpected color that would still coordinate.

LOVE IT TOGETHER! I think it’s a very fresh and new idea but it can be fun and classic. the color scheme reminds me of a garden or cottage wedding for some reason…

I don’t think red would go well, either… People can’t really see your shoes, so I don’t see why you’d have to add red as a third color?

This wedding had beautiful details that could be similar to yours?  I love the bouquets, and sort of wish they were my colors! πŸ™‚ http://www.sarahmaren.com/slideshows/weddings/sara-jane-and-meghan-wedding

I think using the red as an accent would make it perfect.  You can get away with lots of colors if it’s not lots of big swaths of big colors.

As long as the red is a more coral-red color and not red-red, I think it will be lovely!
